Not likely: That diagnosis is not typical. There isn't really a mechanism of injury that would cause us to give such a diagnosis. So you more likely need to see another specialist. My best guess is that you only have a grade 3 mcl and don't have an acl or PCL injury. In that case, you only need to give it time. It should take 2-3 months for an mcl to mostly heal.
