Reflex: That is called an after image and is the result of the retinal nerve cells maintaining their stimulated state for a brief time after sending their initial signal of the view of the object in question to the brain. It is quite normal.

Afterimage: This is called an entopic phenomenon. An example is when you can see floaters, or your own blood vessels when staring at bright light thru eyes closed. The cells in retina are excited after a flash of lightning that they continue to send message to brain. Kinda like when you burn your hand, feels hot even seconds later.
