Lanap: Unfortunately the company tied the procedure (lanap) with the purchase of a proprietary laser. Yes the laser cost is cost prohibitive for most general dentists. We have been following developments of other companies who will allow this procedure to be performed less expensively.

Over the last 14 years, millennium has been researching and tweaking the protocol and settings. The protocol and laser are inexorably linked due to this. The laser is a nd:yag and the price of nd:yag lasers with the proper features make the laser price reasonable.
