LANAP Case selection: LANAP protocol results are much more predictable in terms of bone regeneration and tissue attachment. Laser treatment is a great option for many periodontal patients; however, it may not be suited for all cases. The case selection is the key to a successful treatment.

Could Work Well: LANAP can help your body to rebuild bone in many cases. The results can be amazing. However, the procedure is not completely predictable, and it's not 100% successful. Also, in "early" periodontitis, LANAP may not be your only option for rebuilding a normal bone level. Your dentist/periodontist can advise you about your options, the risks and benefits, and the alternatives. Talk with him/her.
