Consider homeopathy: This must be rather frustrating. It is unfortunate that the people he has seen have not yet helped- they were all worth trying. Homeopathy often helps mysterious problems that have not been helped by other approaches. For a problem like this it is best to consult a good homeopath and there are some great ones in your area- see http://www.Bayareahomeopathyassociation.Org/baha-directory.Html.

Itching: A tough one. Look up a leap test from signet labs in case it is a food intolerance not an allergy. If the ANA is negative and parsite tests are negative try a homeopathic like urtica urens.
