Gets complicated...: In general, the U.S. Is a free country, so a patient can select any doctor he wants to go to, and likewise, a doctor can select which patient he wants to treat. That makes life fair. Usually, if there is a complication after a surgery, that surgeon or another surgeon on the same team corrects the problems, instead of bringing an outside person into a problem situation. The va may have more rules.

CT Scan, MRI (extensive left mastoiditis) ears ok. Headache w/ darkness (corner of eyes). Bacterial infection in June. ENT on Fri. Allergy/recovery?
History of sinus infection/ear infections. New symptoms of mastoiditis, pain behind ear, hot red ear, went into ENT, everything checked out normal, was told TMJ "bad jaw joint". Woke up moisture in ear, and pain only in ear, hurts when exhaling.
If TMJ is cause of major ear pain (worse when weather changes), ENT says ear is normal, what is course of action? Custom mouth guard? Massage therapy?
My 21mo old son will have surgery in 4 days to place tubes in his ears by his ENT doctor. Instructions say no bloodthiners including multivitamins before surgery. I forgot to ask, He drinks pediasure, is this considered as a multivitamin supplement?
