Try with food: I would try taking the Aspirin with food, if this does not help do not resort to enteric coated aspirin. This form of Aspirin is poorly absorbed, and since your dosage is low, the amount absorbed would be insufficient for stroke protection. There is another agent available--clopidigrel (plavix), which is taken once daily. It is less irritating to the stomach, and carries the same risk of bleeding.
