Eval: After a significant trauma to the eye - the best way to find out if the pains are a sequella - is to undergo an opthamologic evaluation. Stabbing pains this far out merits assessment.

No most likely real.: The truman that cause your black eye have also traumatized the nerves in that area. When nerve wake up that can cause what you are describing. Try massaging the area and see if it helps. If it continues see your doctor.
