Eye imbalance: This condition is called anisometropia or an imbalance in the refractive error of the eyes. If the imbalance is large enough glasses alone will not correct it and contact lenses may be required for good vision. Lasik is also a reliable way to correct refractive error and can correct near and farsightedness.
