Is it safe to have a 2nd lasik procedure? i was 18 when i had my first one one done, and now 12 years later my vision is not good as it was, and need glasses. more my right eye is blurry seeing father than my left. lasik safe? eyes stabilize?

I would recommend against a second lasik. Stay with glasses. Even if you get lasik again, you will need glasses in another 10 years anyway. As a general principle, it is not a good idea to have surgery if effective alternative treatment are available. Wish you good health!

See a LASIK specialist for evaluation of your corneal thickness as well as the curvature of the front and back surfaces of your cornea. It may be safe to get a simple LASIK enhancement; however, your doctor must rule out ectasia or forme fruste keratoconus, both of which may require a corneal crosslinking procedure. Your age is not relevant. Do not delay getting the proper evaluation.
