I don't believe it: Real vitamin deficiencies in the developed world are rare except in people on crackpot "health" diets, except vitamin d deficiency which is rampant. A full supplement should cost $10/year. The results of "diet and cancer" surveys, like most memory-based public health studies, turns up huge amounts of contradictory claims. Since vitamin deficiency doesn't mutate genes, i doubt any real cancer link.
