How often should a 30yo have a cystascope done after having bladder cancer?

Guidelines: The guidelines for surveillance of bladder cancer are dependent on the characteristics and pathology of the cancer more so than age. Your urologist should inform you if your cancer is high or low grade and where it is located in the layers of the bladder, and based on that a cystoscopy schedule is followed. Best wishes.

Bladder cancer: The surveillance protocol calls for cystoscopy every 3 months for the first 2 years. Eventually moves to every 6 months and then annually.
