Bladder problems: A cystoscopy is the only test to visually examine the bladder lining. It is still a widely used test to evaluate bladder dysfunction and to check for cancer. Other reasons for the test include anything that can affect the lower urinary tract anatomy and function. These include urinary leakage, weak urinary stream, inability to urinate, previous urinary tract surgery, and blood in the urine.
