Keep if you can!: You are only 19! you've got your whole life ahead of you! all things considered, natural teeth are much better than artificial teeth. Only remove the tooth if there's no other way to save it. I've never heard of a root canal called "nerve kill" before. Please start taking better care of your teeth immediately. Lose one today, one tomorrow, ..Next thing you know, you don't have any more!

Depends: If the tooth has a good long term prognosis or it is an important tooth in your mouth then root canal therapy is better.
