Go to ER: If in doubt, go to er. Appendicitis can evolve slowly and then you can have rapid deterioration when it really cranks up. "tender abdomens" always make me nervous. If your abdomen hurts when you ride in a car or if you lie down on the floor and somebody taps the bottom of your feet, it's called a "peritoneal sign" and it means that you have something brewing in your abdomen. If in doubt, go.

Tender Pain above belly button. Seems like ultrasound came back to normal and so did blood work. Omeprazole seems to help. And the pain comes back without it. Will a certain amount of time using omeprazole completely cure my issue ?
