Take control of life: Medications may not be the answer for all fm patients. You need to decide who is in charge-- you or the pain. Dealing with stressors, regular low impact exercise, weight reduction if needed, avoidance of alcohol and caffeine, and not allowing the pain to stop you from moving on with you like are vitally important in patient self management of fm.

Natural therapies: ? what to try since all three fibromyalgia (FM) meds failed to help. FM seems (my mind) to be soft tissue disorder so not identified by imaging studies or lab tests. Best to increase muscle tone via aquatherapy, gentle yoga & reduce chronic muscle spasm with massage. Topical & edible cannabis have helped many with pain & sleep. If obese reduce weight; use mindfulness therapies for depression.
