Try gabapentin: Fibromylagia is a chronic pain syndrome and may respond to Gabapentin (neurontin). It can be dosed 100mg at night initially then increased up to 600-800mg 3x/day. Tricyclic antidepressants (e.g. Elavil) have been used for chronic pain also. I have treated 'trigger points' with injections with success or used topical Lidocaine (lidoderm patch). Do not forget about alternatives: accupuncture, etc.

Fibromyalgia meds: Many suspect that other snri medications may be effective for chronic pain as is cymbalta. Consider Effexor (venlafaxine), or Pristiq (desvenlafaxine) may be as effective even though no formal fda approval/indication. Tricyclic antidepressants have been known to be very helpful as well, amitriptyline, nortriptyline, doxepin. Same can work as an over the counter supplement. Be sure to look for underlying causes.
