Found out 5 months after having a ct scan in august2012 that i have 2.8 cm exophytic mass on my rt kidney. what should happen now?

Renal mass: Did the previous report define the mass as solid or cystic or mixed? Did it enhance with contrast? Perhaps a repeat scan to determine if mass has changed. If larger or otherwise suspicious, a fine needle biopsy may be the next step, but ask the doc who ordered original ct what his/her opinion is & what your options are.

Kidney mass: You should have been evaluated by a urologist and possibly undergone surgery thats about the minimum please go back to the doctor asap.
