Nothing good: While needles are introduced into eyeballs under controlled conditions for sampling and the introduction of drugs, the eye can also b e struck with needles accidentally. The damage range from trivial to severe depending upon what the needles hits: iris, lens, vitreous, retina. Infection and bleeding are also possibilities. If this happens see an ophthalmologist immediately.
