A #: Lexapro, celexa, Prozac & zoloft work well. I find that patients some times have more side effects with paxil (paroxetine). Lexapro tends to have fewer side effects. Your doctor will help to find the right match for you.

Yes, but...: Recommending a specific agent among the ssris or another group for you without an evaluation would be akin to recommending specific engine repairs without doing any diagnostics or even knowing what kind of engine it is. Medicine is nothing more than a tool that must be applied and used in a specific way tailored to fit your specific needs. Haphazardly applying a random tool may just worsen things.
