Sjogren's is rare...: Usually small ulcers, or aphthous ulcers, are benign symptoms and are similar to canker sores. They can be caused by viruses, eating too many acidic or sugar-rich foods and candies. If the sores are also in vagina or in GI tract, you should be evaluated by a doctor. Any persistent sore in your mouth should be evaluated by dentist or physician!

Herpes? Other virus?: Newly acquired herpes could do this, if both vaginal area and mouth were exposed. Certain other viral infections and other medical condition can cause oral and genital ulcers at the same time. However, no infection is likely to travel through the digestive tract and do this. Don't mess around with this possibly serious problem; see a doctor ASAP. Good lucik.
