Contact your dentist: While he may need to wait for healing from todays procedure, it is possible the dentist maybe able to adjust his bite to make him feel better. Why is he waiting to take the meds?

Antibiotics& call Dr: Start the antibiotics immediately and call the dr. Who started the treatment. Ibuprofen best for now -- usually 600 mg 4 x day for 5 days. Good luck.

Vague: I would want to know why the root canal was not completed. Time, infection, cooperation, discomfort? I would go back to the dentist or get a second opinion.
