Questions to ask...: The most common reason for nose bleeds at this age is nose picking. I would be concerned if the nose bleeds lasted >20 minutes. This could indicate a clotting problem such as low platelets. Frequent small nose bleeds could mean friable nasal membranes, which could be caused by dry air. Sometimes a little vaseline in nostril can help. See ENT if continues. Might need cautery of fragile blood vessel.
