Sched appt w/ Dr: Chest pains can be caused by many things besides the heart. Ekg's can miss problems if it is intermittent. You should schedule a real appointment with a doctor. The emergency room is not the place to go to figure out a chronic problem. Their job is to take care of acute problems (emergencies). You need someone who can follow up and get a detailed and accurate picture of what's going on.
