neurologist said peripheral neuropathy is almost always caused by excessive alcohol or diabetics. if you consume 3 beers per day is pn likely?

Not necessarily: Statistically in usa, most common cause of neuropathy is diabetes, or alcohol/ nutritional issues, but your 3 beers daily probably has little impact. In your age group, other etiologies could be present, such as b-12 deficiency, amyloid deposition, medication adverse effects, vascular disease, etc. An EMG could reveal insight.

It is possible.: Alcohol consumed over a long period of time can lead to peripheral neuropathy.
