Probably OK: One important factor in helping how worried to be is the actual mechanism of the injury? A small, self-limited nose bleed is not worrisome. A cold pack to where they got hit can provide comfort. A dose of Acetaminophen (tylenol) would be ok. If they start acting strangely, start vomiting, or get so sleepy that they are difficult to wake up, the child needs to be seen by a doctor.

Other injuries?: Hit in the head with what? Was the child unconscious, or just yelled for a while. A small child's nose has fairly hard nasal bones and resilient cartilage, and so doesn't break easily. But in any case we need to know the mechanism of injury. How hard did something hit the child, what hit the child? A short nosebleed is probably not a big deal but i can't answer the question without more info.
