Should be seen: Yes i would suggest, you should go in. At least to an urgent care to check neuro functions. With no witness, it is a good idea.

Head Injury: You do need to be vigilant tonight. Once 24 hours have passed without any worsening then you can breathe a bit easier. If your child is not throwing up and can be aroused from sleep a couple of times tonight then things will be fine. If he begins to vomit this is an emergency.
