A member asked:

I am taking telma 40 a generic drug for hypertension. i am clocking 130/90 regularly. is it alright or should it be 120/80 on dot?

Htn: Diastolic BP is borderline high @ 90, should be around 80, modify your diet, avoid salt, fried food, exercise, if this does not bring down the bp, option is to increase the dose to 80 mg or add diuretic ( water pill - hydrochlorothiazide), starting @ 12.5mg daily.
