ARB: Telmisartan is the generic name of micardis- an angiotensin receptor blocker working in your kidney to dilate blood vessels and lower blood pressure. It's absolutely contraindicated in pregnancy. Otherwise, side effects are rare. Pantoprazole is the generic name of protonix, (pantoprazole) a proton pump inhibitor that reduces gastric acid production. It has no effect on BP and also is usually well tolerated.
