Possible: I have never read or heard of Micardis (telmisartan) plus (telmistartan/hydrochlorothiazide) to cause changes in appetite. Zoloft definitely has an association with appetite changes. If you recently started either of these medications there is a small chance they could be interacting with another. Ask your primary care about changing the time of day you take these medicines.

Micardis (telmisartan) HCTA: Micardis (telmisartan) HCTZ is an excellent medication. It is not typically associated with reduced appetite. However, any medication can affect appetite. Remote possibilities for your symptoms: Low potassium from the HCTZ; low BP from the combination; worsening kidney function; or not related at all. If you have not had blood work recently, it is a good idea to be checked. Measure your BP values too.
