Speak up!: You need to discuss these thoughts with your therapist. If you are not as yet on medication, he/she will likely send you to a psychiatrist for medications, but sometimes primary care providers can provide this service as well. The two need to work together to help you get better. If the thoughts get more intense, you need to go to a local er, by 911 if necessary, to get emergent stabilization.
