There is no cause.: If you are forming new scar tissue there is something going on that requires that you be examined. See your surgeon.

Inflammation: Sometimes local inflammation or polyps can cause problems after sinus surgery. Go back to see your surgeon for treatment options. Sometimes medications like steroids or antibiotics, or minor in office procedures can be done to fix the problem.
