Generally reliable: Both tests have very high sensitivity and specificity; however, the dna sda test can have false negatives if there is an inhibitor present, such as a high white count in the urine or blood. The rna/tma test is less subject to this, and due to the positive screen and risk/benefit ratio, i would recommend treatment.
