I had a positive result for chlamydia.. i had a negative test 3 months prior and iv been with the same person.. why did their test come back negative? what are all the factors to a false negative test for chlamydia?

Chlamydia: If your test for chlamydia was positive, and you have had only one partner, it is possible that your partner's test was in error. Your current symptoms suggest that you may have another vaginal infection. See your gyn provider for testing and an exam. If again positive for chlamydia, your partner needs to be re-tested.
