Sore tongue: Pregnancy can make the mouth and tongue very sensitive to bacteria/fungi. Make sure you are scraping your tongue from the back to front with a tongue scraper every morning and night. Any plaque buildup could cause inflammation on any oral tissue such as the gums. Make sure you have good nutrition and oral hygiene, especially flossing. If this doesn't improve in 2 weeks see a dentist.

Aphthous ulcer: The stress of pregnancy, hormonal changes, etc., can cause a myriad of oral changes. It could be an apthous ulcer, or an inflamed foliage papilla( taste bud) . I recommend the use of kanka which is non- prescription , to coat and sooth. If this does not help after a week, see your dentist!
