Surgery, Rad & Chemo: There are the same options as with any other cancer. Surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. Course of action depends on tumor type and extent.

Depends on type...: I am sorry to hear about your father. There are many ways to treat brain cancer, but depends on the type of brain cancer and exactly where it is located in the brain. Treatments include surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Your father's neuro-oncologist will come up with a treatment plan using one or more of these. Many brain cancers can be treated effectively with long term survival.
