Glucose in urine?: Sweet smelling urine can be the first sign of problems with your body controlling blood sugars. Other symptoms of diabetes can include frequent urination, excessive thirst, unintentional weight loss, abdominal pain or nausea, blurry vision, or extreme fatigue or irritability. I would probably at least get your urine checked for glucose (sugar) and perhaps a blood glucose level.
