Start slowly...: It takes a lot of guts to start an exercise program when you are overweight. Good for you! you may be out of shape now, but that can change! start slowly. Walk, don't run at first. When you can, alternate walking with a little light jogging. Increase your activity as you are able. Any symptoms of chest pain or pressure mean you need to see a doctor. It's also wise to see doctor before you begin.
