Not for 2 weeks min: Soft contact lens use must be stopped at least 2 weeks before lasik surgery. Gas permeable ones need more time than that. Check out http://www.2020vision.Com/procedures_lasik.Html.

Contacts : You can wear contacts prior to lasik but they must be discontinued prior to the procedure to allow the cornea to regularize. Soft lenses should be stopped two weeks prior to surgery, toric lenses 4 weeks, and much longer if rigid gas permeable lenses.

A break from contact: lenses is a must to get an accurate evaluation. The lenses change the shape of your cornea temporarily and a LASIK eval requires your cornea in its relaxed form to be accurate. Your eye surgeon will let you know how long to stay completely out of contact lenses. Generally 2 weeks to 3 months depending on the type of lenses. Good luck.
