Can any adult wear contacts or get a lasik eye surgery?

Depends: On the degree of astigmatism and other factors that bear on contact lens tolerance. More adults are candidates for contacts than lasik.

Contacts or LASIK: Most patients are candidates for contacts and/or lasik. If the patients have dry eye, irregular or thin corneas, certain medical problems, corneal scars, and other issues, then they may not be able to wear contacts or have lasik. If you are interested, you should see an eye doctor for an evaluation to determine your candidacy for contacts or lasik.
