Dry eyes!: Dry eyes is a very complex issue! low schirmer and tbut, in a 31 year old is a concern. There are many items to consider such as a rheumatologic work up. As far as treatment, it may be best to gt started with Restasis or Lotemax (loteprednol) eye drops.... But you need to see an ophthalmologist that is very comfortable treating dry eyes (not dismissive of it).

Dry eye: Try artificial tears, warm compresses, ointment at night, and fish oil supplements. You could also try a low dose steroid, restasis, and punctal plugs. If no improvement, see an eye doctor.

What can be done for chronic dry eyes when everything has already been tried? Restasis for 14 weeks, azasis for a month, bottom plugs. Tried steroid drops, antibiotic drops, upper plugs, nothing works. I can barely keep my eyes open for 10 seconds.
