Ua shows neg. leukocytes. only 1 white blood cell and bacteria is rare. positive for nitrites. would cranberry juice cure this or do i need antibiotic?

Ua: Without symptoms a culture would have to be done to determine if there was bacteria. Cystitis is a clinical diagnosis with typical symptoms that is better treated with a culture and sensitivity. Nitrites are less important without symptoms, red or white cells in the urine and < 3 cells per hpf is normal range. Often times a catheterised urine specimen is needed.
