A member asked:

Can a retracting testicle or injury cause compression of the genitofemoral nerve and cause groin, scrotal pain? will it improve with time?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below...: This could be many things. Most cases of scrotal content pain resolve on their own, but some don't. A scrotal ultrasound, which is a painless type of imaging that does not involve radiation, may be helpful. I strongly recommend seeing your primary care physician or an urologist as soon as possible to have this evaluated. Most cases can be treated successfully.
