Probably: In adults, a zpack is the usual first choice for treatment of an acute flare of bronchitis or sinusitis. It works most of the time. If symptoms are getting worse after 2-3 days of the medicine, call your doctor back to consider a stronger medicine. Fever, chills, new chest pain, being short of breath, more or darker phlegm (mucus) are things to report to your doctor. Good luck.

Maybe: The symptoms of chest pain with coughing are non specific and can be seen with severe bronchitis, pneumonia, and other problems, "rales" are also not specific, someone in this situation should discuss with their doctor.
