Likely nerve: Most common cause is carpal tunnel syndrome, with nerves compressed at wrists, perhaps secondary to keyboarding. Although might wonder re nerves higher up in arms, this is less likely. Could wonder about a neck issue (stenosis?), and recommend you see your doctor and perhaps get films of neck. An EMG study will probably confirm cts.
