Possible: It is definitely possible to treat some orthodontic issues with retainers. You would need to have a consultation with an orthodontist or a general dentist who does removable orthodontic therapy to find out if it is possible in your mouth. By the way, invisalign is a form of retainer therapy.

Possible: In general, retainers are designed to retain or hold teeth. Some retainers can be used to actually treat very minor orthodontic problems. Only a visit with your licensed orthodontic specialist can determine if a retainer, braces, or clear aligners are right for your case.

Retainers retain. They help stabilize teeth in current positions. There are many removable appliances, however, that can be adjusted to provide limited treatment objectives. Braces, clear or metallic, are still the gold standard. See a qualified Orthodontist for Initial Examination (usually free) to determine the intensity of your malocclusion (bad bite) and your best treatment options.
