Need some dental expertise! my teeth are shifting after retainer?

Get help ASAP: Don't wait, the longer you delay the less that can be done. See an orthodontic specialist, preferably the orthodontist that treated you, for review and management recommendations. It's not like a steel post in concrete. Teeth will shift as bone changes. See an orthodontist to minimize the change.

Return to dentist: Asap to evaluate situation. Our office belive s that retainers ate for life. If not worn regularly the sooner you are treated the less expensive and complicated will be the correction. Note: after a few years of treatment worth the perioprotecttray system some patients may be able to be weaned off retainers as a side effect of that periodontal therapy. (more research isneeded).
