A generic answer: Would be inaccurate because one doesn't know the severity of your case. Would be best to consult with an orthodontist to see treatment options. Hope this helps.

No or probably not: Invisalign is not designed to treat to stable joint relationships, but uses the habitual bite as the end point of treatment. If you have a TMJ issue you just first find a stable joint position and then complete treatments to that relationship. Otherwise you are playing russian roulette with whether or not you will be better off or perhaps the situations will become worse.

Unlikely: The only way to determine if you're a candidate for invisalign is to make an appointment with an orthodontic specialist. However, invisalign would not typically be used for underbite unless it is quite minor - the same for TMJ symptoms.

Surgery?: Did your orthodontist discuss surgery to correct the underbite and TMJ dysfunction in conjunction with invisalign?

No: Invisalign is about 41% effective at straightening teeth. It is not useful in correcting jaw discrepancies, nor will it resolve TMJ issues. See a qualified orthodontist for evaluation of your problem and discussion of your treatment alternatives.
