Offer frequently: Offer the foods frequently-familiarity with foods increases the liklihood that he will eat them. Don't insist that they eat a portion, but encourage ' a bite to be polite'. Don't allow frequent snacking or drinking-this can fill a child up; don't serve alternative meals to picky eaters. Family members should eat what is served, missing a meal is not catastrophic-unless doctor says so.
