Time: After an allergic reaction on the skin, there can be either hyperpigmentation (darker) or hypopigmentation (lighter) areas on the affected skin. These pigment changes will gradually improve over time and usually do not require treatment. If the very dark areas are painful or blistering, see your dermatologist.

How to get rid of spots caused by allergic reaction?
I struggle with atopic dermatitis. I use a humidifier, antihistamines, fragrance free soaps and fragrance free moisturizer. Nothing helps. What other options can calm the flare ups? And what can I use during the calm phases to prevent flare ups?
